Junior Cost Estimator:

Position based in Lake Success, NY.

Review, interpret and estimate scope of work. Perform detailed project cost estimate utilizing HCSS software. Establish cost estimation formulation and develop strategies to reduce costs. Engage in the development of preliminary project schedule and attend pre-bid conferences. Analyze architectural blueprints and specifications to prepare estimates. Provide and present value engineering options and costs. Contribute to Design-Builds SQQ’s and proposals including project narratives. Review progress and construction documents for constructability. Prepare technical bids and budgets and analyze drawings and specifications.

Require Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering with one year of experience in the job offered.
