Description: Construction of a new 10,000 sf two story framed building, which will be the new District 9 Facility for the MTA Police Department. The work is being done within the existing 3-acre Staten Island Railway Maintenance of Way Complex. The building will be ADA compliant and will include offices, locker rooms, restrooms, holding cells, booking and arrest processing areas, and supporting mechanical and electrical rooms.
